ReadSquared is a new program we are using to keep up with our reading. No more paper logs, paper board games, or paper bingo cards. It is all online!!

For Birth – Teens, log reading each week and earn badges to be entered to win weekly prizes. Complete the Summer Reading Program to be entered into the grade range Grand Prize drawing.

HOW TO PLAY
*Come by the Library to pick up your “Book a Trip Across America” travel booklet. Your goal is to read a book from each of the 50 US states, no particular order. Start reading books that take place in that state, is about that state, or is by an author from that state. Complete instructions are on the back of the booklet. Redeem prizes at the Children’s Desk. Remember, “The More you Read, the More you will Know. The More you Learn, the More Places you will Go!” ~Dr. Seuss

The Children’s and Tween Library is more than just books!
It’s your destination for educational, inspirational, and entertaining items to enjoy at the Library or to take home.
Registration for programs requires child must have valid Library card. Please get Library cards in advance of Summer Programs registration day.
Space in programs is limited. If you no call/no show TWICE for ANY events for which you are registered, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list for all future activities.
Parents may borrow a laptop while their child is in the area, or visit the Parenting section for books, magazines and more!
All Children’s and Tween Library Programs are offered at NO CHARGE as a service of the Baxter County Library and generous sponsors.
