The Children’s and Tweens Library is more than just books!
It’s your destination for educational, inspirational, entertaining items
to enjoy at the Library or to take home.

All ages need a Library card. Apply for your card HERE, then pick it up when you visit. Residents of Baxter County are issued a Library card at no charge. Registration for programs requires child must have valid Library card. Please get Library cards in advance of Summer Programs registration day. Space in programs is limited. If you no call/no show TWICE for ANY events for which you are registered, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list for all future activities.
Children’s computers access the internet (with parent’s permission). Early learning stations promote technology at early ages! Parents may borrow a laptop while their child is using a computer. Or, visit the Parenting section for books, magazines and more! All Children’s and Tween Library Programs are offered at NO CHARGE as a service of the Baxter County Library and generous sponsors.
