Summer Reading Fun for All Ages…

Pick up your Reading Chalenge card starting May 1st.  Your card will suggest ten categories and you will choose five of them.  Read a book for each category chosen.  Please do not duplicate books.  Turn in your completed Reading Challenge card by August 30 and you will be entered into a random drawing for a Kindle!  (View the Reading Challenge Card)



Teens that read for 40 hours will be invited to the first LIbrary Olympics on the Lawn Field Day, Friday, August 12.  Reach 45 hours + and your name will go into 1 of 5 Grand Prize drawings!

Pick up your Summer Reading Log at the Teen Summer  Kick-off Dance Party Friday, June 3, 4:00pm – 10:00pm.  All teens ages 13-18 are invited.

Starting June 1, pick up your Summer Reading Program packet with game board and contest information.  Children ages 3-9  will record their reading and bring in their game boards to win incentives.  Those who complete their game boards receive an invitation to the Kids Ice Cream and Book Bingo on July 23 with free book give-aways.

Parents of children ages birth-age 2 can pick up an activity packet starting June 1.  After completing fifteen activities return it for a prize pack.


Tweens ages 10-12 can pick up their reading packets starting June 1.  Read and earn incentives. Tweens who complete their reading hours receive an invitation to the Tween Pizza Party on July 23 with drawings for special prizes.
